The Merryman is more than just a performing arts venue – we are a popular location for a diversity of rentals in the Kearney area. Full scale theatrical productions, politicians, astronauts, and magic shows have graced our stage, while our reception hall has held craft shows, science fairs, and cub scout meetings as well as receptions. Our conference room is popular with Kearney Public School staff and other community groups.
This versatile venue may be tailored to suit your needs. Our conference room is equipped with video, internet, and phone service and can be configured however you need it to be. Our reception hall also is equipped with internet, as well as audio reinforcement for music or microphones. There are tables and chairs available, or we can help you arrange for more personalized arrangements. Wedding decorations are limited only by your imagination; if you can picture it, our experienced technical staff can help make it happen.

Conveniently located just west of downtown Kearney, the Merryman has ample parking and is a very accessible venue for older adults for a wedding, graduation, or reception. We can easily accomodate your event, whether it is a speaking engagement, a small to mid-size graduation reception, your wedding day, or a major music concert.
