Established in 2015, the Scott D. & Rochelle Morris Matinee Fund supports the Merryman Performing Arts Center to annually present diverse local, regional, and nationally touring performances of theatre, music and dance for Kearney area K-12 students. In addition, these funds help support the opportunities for children and their parents and grandparents to attend family and youth-oriented performances by providing reduced price tickets.
Buckets ‘n’ Boards is a high-energy and interactive comedy percussion show with imaginative songs, body percussion, and bucket drumming that will have students laughing and drumming along!
Featured on season 8 of America’s Got Talent, CATAPULT is a nationally touring group of artists whose interpretive dance and amazing acrobatics create visual stories for the whole family. Don’t miss the 6:30PM family performance!
123-Andres is a husband and wife Latin Grammy-winning duo with a lively show that gets students singing and dancing.
} It’s not easy being the Pigeon-you never get to do ANYTHING! But when the Bus Driver has a crisis that threatens to make her passengers (gasp!) late, maybe that wily bird CAN do something. Featuring an innovative mix of songs, and feathers, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! is sure to get everyone’s wings flapping.
